ABI introduces our new family of De-Ox sterling grain
to meet the different manufacturing and tarnish resistance needs
of the jewelry industry. All sterilite sterlings have superior casting
properties compared to traditional sterling

De-Ox, exceptional cast briteness, high tarnish resistance, soft
temper.
Recommended for open system casting.
250 Casting+ Rolling -
High tarnish resistance and good cast briteness.
Medium temper (10% harder than regular sterling).
Heat treatable for increased hardness (10-15%).
Recommended for open + closed system casting
400 Casting – Medium De-Ox,
moderate cast briteness, good tarnish resistance.
Medium Temper (5% harder than regular sterling), heat treatable.
More forgiving casting alloy for open + closed systems.

Alloy) – No De-Ox, low cast briteness, low tarnish
resistance.
High hardness (12% greater than regular sterling).

Our Sterilite™ De-Ox blends
offer the following additional benefits:
• Superior surface finish due
to tighter grain structure of material.
• Reduced polishing time resulting
from a smoother as cast surface with no fire scale.
• Environmentally friendly –
eliminates the need to strip with cyanides or acids.
• Reduced porosity due to higher
fluidity during casting.
• Reduced scrap due to the elimination
of fire scale during casting. Metal recycleability is 50% or
higher.
• Hardness properties greater
than regular sterling in Sterilite (#250/400)and significantly
harder than other De-Ox sterling products on the market.
• Antique applications are achievable.
Best with prior bead blast application.
